Our ski day was all overcast, with some snow and low visibility. But before it got too bad, we found a lovely run just off the chair lift pictured above, with lots of powder for Bruce, and a fun groomed run for me. We stuck with it until it was about time to close, and headed over and back up to the telecabine to descend back to Chamonix.
When we got to the telecabine, the clouds parted, and we got another view of the stunning peaks across the valley.
The snow was still falling on our side of the valley--as you can especially see here--whilst there were blue skies over by the Mont Blanc.
This is on the Mt. Brevent side, above where we skied.
Looking down from the telecabine to Chamonix.
The train that started it all. I rode on this very train with the a cute law student and her sister to the Mer de Glace glacier, where I first put my arm around and took my first picture with a beautiful young lady who is now my sweetheart and wife.
